OUT OF AFRICA

Our family just returned from a two week long, trip of a lifetime tour through South Africa and surrounding areas.  So many amazing places we feel fortunate enough to see with our own eyes- starting with a beautiful game lodge at Sabi Sands National Park called Singita, Boulders, where our personal guide Sipho and our tracker Luis, had us up close and personal with giraffe, zebras, lions, cheetah and even witnessed leopards mating.

In Cape Town we received invaluable knowledge from our tour guide Gerald Potash on Cape Town's history and beauty.  We rode the cable car up to the top of Table Mountain and were rewarded by it's stunning views.  We enjoyed multiple Wine Farms in the scenic Franschhoek and Stellenbosch villages, among my favorites were Chamonix, Graff, and Ernie Els for their delicious selections and gorgeous wineries~

In Zambia we went to the breathtaking Victoria Falls, one of the seven natural wonders of the world.  Never have I felt so close to god, when witnessing this waterfall.  An incredible sight of nature to behold and even more special was to see for the first time ever, a stunning rainbow in the shape of a large 360 circle.
We enjoyed elephant rides through the jungle and while at our lodge at The Royal Livingstone, zebra came calling outside our room.

Even more special, was the fact that my husband Simmie who originally from South Africa, had not been back since he was 17 years old, shared his beautiful country with us.
It was without a doubt, a fabulous adventure and one our family will always treasure~
