Breast Cancer is so much more prevelent in today's world......not a month goes by without hearing that someone I know received this life changing diagnosis. When my dear friend Karla Jacoby was diagnosed 2 years ago with breast cancer it was such a shock to all of us, since she was considered a "low risk".
I was there to support her every step of the way, and was so very proud of Karla's strength throughout her journey in kicking breast cancer to the curb.
When her husband Dr. Eric Jacoby, a well known Dallas Ob/Gyn and also good friend, told me about the new BrevaGen test he was offering at his practice to determine through your DNA if you are at high risk for breast cancer, I said SIGN ME UP!

I really felt since I was also considered "low risk" this test was important for me to do, since I have very little family history to go by, I felt I was living with a false sense of security.
